Image Resizing and More

As I get ready for next year I am looking at the skills my students will need and the different tools I want the student to use.

One issue students have is working with resizing images and creating screenshots. Students will upload images to their blogs that are extremely large not paying attention to the file size. On the Mac you can use Preview to help with this. Preview also has some nice annotation tools that I didn’t know about so it becomes quite helpful with the creation of screenshots as well. You open the photo then from the tools menu you can select adjust the size, This also shows you the image adjusting, editing and annotation tools.

So I took a few screenshots  using apple-shift 4. To remind myself about this.
