I have used the Moodle Quiz tool and Google Forms for my formative assessments, in my Math 8 class, but lately have tried some other tools.
Socrative has been my go to formative assessment tool since last May. The past few math classes I have started looking at infuselearning more closely. We are currently looking at rational numbers so I like that I can upload and add graphics to my questions. I have used the Daum Equation Editor to creates the problems then adding the resulting images to my quiz. It works with “any device“.
I like the visual feedback graph as the kids are going through each of the questions. I can create a class for my students, upload their names via a CSV file. and have them sign in. This creates a space specifically for my class. I can also have a space available to anyone that has the room access number. I’ve added a few slides below to show the tool interface..
