iMovie sound and the iPad

One nice thing about waiting to go to a conference that gives you time to play.

So I’ve looked at the videos we’re working on for the standup to bullying project that Bonnie is putting together. My goal is to try to see if I can complete the project with copyright friendly files using only my iPad.

I knew I could use iCab to download audio files from CCmixter or SoundCloud and add one audio file to iMovie. But what I couldn’t do was put two or more files together to create one audio track that I could then add to my iMovie project.

Today I downloaded TwistedWave. TwistedWave is an audio editor. Using iCab I can download the files then using TwistedWave I can copy and paste the different sections I wanted to create one audio track for iMovie. Right now I don’t know how I can find on iMovie the exact time that where I want the audio tracks to change to so it requires a little bit of trial and error in deciding where I merge the two tracks.

Here is the resulting video. Starts of at the beginning with a slower tracks than at the 30 sec mark it moves to a slightly faster second track
