Another Tweet-360 Panoramas

I read a tweet today from @BrianLockwood with a photo made by an app I had on my Iphone called 360 Panorama.  I played with the app over the holidays but didn’t play with it enough to know you could upload the panoramic views to an external site. I used to teach kids how to make QuicktimeVR movies so I wondered if you could use the “Pano 360 jpeg Strips” (not sure what they are called) to create a movie. Using 360 Panorama and Pano2VR it was fairly easy to create a VR Movie.

Remember these are not just movies you need to move the video left and right in the movie with your mouse. Some examples below were from downtown New Years Eve in Saigon with a lot of people. So between the evening and the people the “strips” were not the best place to create the panos.

Brother in-law frozen in time in this one…. might have to blame in on a tiger

And a view of school. Need to play with this more and maybe work with a tripod to settle parallax issues.
