This year’s class is a mixture of three different groups. So I have had to change how I work with the students. For my group with no experience I started using a pair programming model where the navigator also had the role of managing the content that the group was working with. I’ve found that this has worked very well in getting started with Scratch Based Coding. One student is using the same materials but on his own.
The third group is working with different topics.
Today we were looking at lists and the creation of dynamic lists. You can see from the image below that this grade eight student is showing an understanding of using procedures. Next we will be looking at sorts.
Nice to easily be able to differentiate with the three groups.
