Nice thing about the Line Art assignment in my Math 8 class is that there are a number of different ways you solve the problem.
For those that struggle they can use a step by step solution using simple move commands. Using variables and creating a block for each quadrant. For one of my students I suggested setting all the variables based on the quadrant where the lines were drawn and using a counter to move through each quadrant. This is what he came up with.
Makes differentiation easy.
