I have started planning for my grade 6 tech course and one of the assessments I plan on using is a “How To” screencast. I have continued to look at Quicktime Player to see how it could be used in my class to do this. Was timely as my colleagues were having an email conversation about how it’s done in Windows and what software they needed to install.
On the Mac the ability to screencast is built in so I created a screencast using Screenflow on how to create a screencast with Quicktime Player. I didn’t know I could send the Quick Time Player screencast directly to Imovie for further editing, pretty slick
