Was working on a little demo for the grade 7 science class about a creating circulatory system animation using Scratch. I wanted to add audio to the project and as I can’t stand listening to myself talk I was looking for a different way to do this.
On the Mac this was easier than I thought using notepad and text to speech. The slide deck below shows you how.

By the way command-shift-4 allows you to take a screenshot of an area you want from your desktop. If after pressing command-shift-4 you press the spacebar the icon changes to camera and will take a photo of the window you click on. This is how I got the images for the above slide deck!
